Beh, tradizione vuole che sia regalato, solo in questo modo porta fortuna.
Dev'essere rosso, regalato... e secondo la tradizione più verace rotto alla punta.
Inoltre c'è tutto un rituale dietro... nel momento in cui lo si dona, bisogna chiedere al destinatario di aprire la mano sinistra e pungerlo con la punta, così il curniciello verrà attivato
Si, lo so, noi napoletani siamo alquanto bizzarri con queste cose. Ma guai a non seguire il rituale magico!

Furthermore, there is also a ritual... when you give the lucky horn, you MUST ask the consignee to open the left hand and sting it with the lucky horn's tips, this way the lucky horn is activated.
